Master the Art of Healing: Thai Traditional Massage Certification (150 Hours)

Embark on a professional journey into the heart of Thai healing arts. This comprehensive 10-day certification program, hosted at the Kewalin Jindati Thai Traditional Development Center in Chiang Mai, offers a deep dive into the rhythmic and meditative practice of traditional bodywork. Led by Lucky, an instructor with over 15 years of experience and a deep family lineage in the craft, this course is designed to transform you into a confident, skilled practitioner.

Meet Your Instructor: Lucky

Originally from Chiang Mai, Lucky brings a lifetime of knowledge to the table. Having learned specialized techniques from her family and refined her skills at the world-renowned Tao Garden under Master Mantak Chia, she bridges traditional “village” techniques with professional, world-class standards. As a certified instructor for 8 years, Lucky ensures that every student masters the correct body mechanics and the flow of Metta (loving-kindness) essential to Thai Massage.

why learn thai massage?

Learning Thai massage is about far more than mastering a physical skill; it is an invitation to enter a “meditation in motion” that benefits the giver as much as the receiver. Unlike many modern therapies that can be taxing on the practitioner’s body, Thai massage teaches you to use your own body weight, leverage, and mindful breathing to create a rhythmic, dance-like flow. By understanding the Sen Sib (the ten major energy lines), you gain a holistic toolkit to unlock tension, improve flexibility, and restore the body’s natural vitality. This ancient art fosters a deep sense of Metta (loving-kindness), transforming a simple treatment into a profound energetic exchange that grounds the mind and revitalizes the spirit.

And beyond the workshops, the experience continues.

You will unwind in the spa and sauna, gather around evening bonfires under the stars, enjoy live concerts and inspiring performances, relax by the swimming pool, and savor nourishing meals at the on-site restaurant.

This retreat blends deep inner work with joy, community, music, celebration, and rest. It is as uplifting as it is restorative.

open the body, connet to the body

To truly connect with the body, we must first learn to listen to its subtle language. Often, we live entirely in our heads, treating the body as a vehicle rather than a home. By opening the physical frame—releasing the chronic tension held in the joints and lengthening the connective tissues—we create the space necessary for awareness to descend from the mind into the limbs. This process of “opening” acts as a bridge; as the physical armor dissolves, the nervous system shifts from a state of protection to one of presence. In this quiet, expanded state, you no longer just “have” a body you experience yourself as one whole, fully inhabited and deeply awake.
